At Paige Rice Psychotherapy, Paige believes that culture, creativity, and connection can be meaningful sources of strength, expression, and emotional well-being. I integrate psychotherapy and art therapy to support self-reflection, personal growth, and healing in ways that honour each client’s needs, identity, and lived experience.
Whether you are navigating emotional challenges, seeking greater self-understanding, moving through a life transition, or interested in exploring your experiences through creativity, Paige offers personalized therapy within a compassionate, collaborative, and supportive environment.
Paige's practice is client-centred and grounded in cultural humility. She tailors services to your goals, preferences, and strengths, drawing on psychotherapy and art therapy approaches to support insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
Paige’s approach is client-centred and integrative, drawing on art therapy, solution-focused approaches, psychodynamic therapy, emotion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness according to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences. She works collaboratively with you, creating space to explore your experiences through conversation, reflection, and creative expression. Together, you can develop insight, recognize your existing strengths, and explore meaningful ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Paige believes that each person has the capacity for growth and meaningful change. Her role is to support you in exploring possibilities, building on your strengths, and enhancing your emotional well-being.
Therapy and Culture
Paige offers a range of services designed to support mental, emotional, spiritual, and creative well-being through art therapy and psychotherapy.
Paige honours Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and healing, recognizing the importance of connection to culture, community, land, and spirit in the healing journey. Her approach is grounded in cultural humility. You decide whether and how culture, spirituality, family, community, or connection to land are included in therapy.
Paige does not assume that clients share the same teachings or preferences. Where appropriate, we can discuss connections to Elders, Knowledge Keepers, or other cultural supports.

Each 50-minute session begins with a check-in about how you have been feeling and what you would like to focus on.
In Psychotherapy, we explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and experiences through conversation. Together, we may identify patterns, consider different perspectives, and practise coping strategies that support your goals.
In Art Therapy, you are invited to use materials such as pencils, paint, or collage to express and explore your experiences. Art-making is followed by reflection and conversation, guided by what the artwork and process mean to you. No artistic experience is needed.
Sessions are collaborative, and we move at your pace.
An opportunity to connect with Paige, ask questions, and explore whether her approach to art therapy and psychotherapy feels like a good fit. You can share what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals and preferences, and learn about fees, availability, and next steps. This consultation is not a therapy session, and there is no obligation to book.
50-Minute Psychotherapy or art therapy sessions are available virtually (in-person sessions available upon request); each is designed to provide a safe space for self-expression and healing through therapy.
Here, you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life challenges in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. This collaborative process not only offers mental health support but also helps you express your emotions and develop resilience. While developing goals and focus of therapy
Our psychotherapy sessions focus on your specific emotional and psychological needs, utilizing various art forms to facilitate personal growth and mental health support.
A space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences through art-making and conversation. Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals, with opportunities for self-expression, reflection, and developing coping skills. No previous art experience is needed.
Individual sessions offer time to talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your experiences, and work toward goals we identify together. My approach is collaborative, client-centred, and trauma-informed, drawing on therapeutic approaches suited to your needs.
